The philosopher Maimonides wrote, "The physician should not treat the disease, but the patient who is suffering from it." Growing up, I watched my father, who was also a urologist here in Rochester, work hard to touch the lives of patients in need. I chose this field because I, too, want to bring joy to patients and their families every day.

My patients will find that I am energetic and charismatic. I love Rochester, which is one of my main reasons for moving back here. I also enjoy sports and the outdoors. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, from Cornell University in Ithaca, I went on to complete my medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, followed by a residency in urology at Strong Memorial Hospital. I later obtained a fellowship in minimally invasive oncology and endourology at University of Minnesota.

I joined the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2006 and have also served as Director of Robotics at Highland Hospital since 2011. Since 2019, I have been Program Directory for the Urology Resident Program. My areas of expertise include robotic and laparoscopic surgeries for prostate, kidney, bladder, adrenal and ureteral cancers. I have taught courses nationally on robotic surgeries and am happy to provide my expertise to the Rochester Community

Conditions I Treat:

- Kidney cancer
- Prostate cancer
- Bladder cancer
- Adrenal cancer
- Ureteral cancer
- Testicular cancer
