Carbon dioxide (CO2) Euthanasia Training - UCAR has developed an on-line training course for CO2 euthanasia in the Blackboard Learning System. 

It is mandatory that all individuals that perform euthanasia using CO2  must review the on-line euthanasia course and pass the quiz. 

If you are listed on a protocol that states that you will euthanize animals with CO2, you must successfully complete the CO2 on-line training

Navigate to “Create New Blackboard User Account” and create an account. Within 24 hours you will be given access to Blackboard (http://bb.urmc.rochester.edu/). Notify the Research and Training Coordinator (UCAR@urmc.rochester.edu) when you have access to Blackboard and you will be added to the Rodent Euthanasia Course. UCAR will contact you when you have successfully completed this training.
