19th Annual Family Health and Fitness Fair
Thursday, October 16: Upstate New York’s largest healthcare exposition sponsored by NYS Senator Jim Alesi. This will be held at the Dome Center, 2695 East Henrietta Road, Henrietta, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will be offering Depression Screenings as well as a host of mental health promotion literature. Harmony in Roc-2008
Sunday, October 19: Harmony in Rochester will be held from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Waterstreet Music Hall. Doors open at 1:00 pm. Tickets are $12 pre-sales and $15 at the door and may be purchased at Record Archive, House of Guitars, A Step Apart, Solera Wine Bar, and by Paypal@Website. They will have a raffle, silent auction, and live local music. All proceeds benefit ACE Memorial Fund, Families of Frieds of Murdered Children and Victims of Violence, and Stand Up Guys working to end Violence Against Women. Wednesday, November 5: Stress is the wear and tear our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing environment. It has physical and emotional effects on us and can create positive or negative feelings. As a negative influence, it can result in feelings of distrust, rejection, anger, and depression, which in turn can lead to a variety of physical health problems. Hear about coping strategies that can improve your quality of life. This will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 pm at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Rt. 20A, Geneseo, NY.
