Program Strengths

U.S. News & World Report: "America’s Best"

URMC’s Department of Otolaryngology is cited on U.S. News & World Report’s " America’s Best Hospitals" list for 2006. This recognition is especially gratifying, since otolaryngology was elevated to department status only in 2005.

Big Program Resources, Small Program Intimacy

Our Otolaryngology Residency Program admits two trainees each year guided by nine gifted physicians/faculty members. The level of personal contact and mentoring is reminiscent of a smaller program—even as residents and faculty enjoy the resources and reputation of URMC.

Experienced, Fellowship-Trained Faculty

All nine members of the Otolaryngology Residency Program’s Faculty are fellowship-trained, meaning that residents can benefit from instructors with expertise in every ENT subspecialty.
