- Eight residents per year (one for the Combined FM/Preventive Medicine Program mentioned below)
- Large (18,000-patient)
practice divided into four autonomous teams comprised of faculty,
nurse practitioners, and support staff
- Resources include on-site
mental health services, procedure rooms, videotaping
Inner City (Brown Square)—NRMP#1511120C1
- Two residents per year
- Community health center:
patient population primarily Medicaid/Medicare, Spanish-speaking,
African-American, immigrants
Combined Family Medicine/Preventive Medicine Residency (Highland Family Medicine) —NRMP#1511120C2
- One resident per year (actually one of the Urban Track residents)
- Add on a two-year program of Preventive Medicine (or, if you already have your MPH, one year) to become dually board-eligible
