The University of Rochester Medical Center uses the Clinical Information System (CIS) for Results Reporting (Lab, Microbiology, Radiology, Dictations, Cardiology, Blood Bank) and for Provider Order Entry.

All incoming trainees must take Part I, the computer-based training (cbt) module PRIOR to orientation.  The link to the training module is http://cis.urmc.rochester.edu/resultscbt.
The module will take approximately 45-60 minutes and includes the mandatory hospital confidentiality training.

In addition, Med Reconciliation is also mandatory.  The link to this is http://cis.urmc.rochester.edu/WebCBTProviders.cfm.

BEGIN THIS TRAINING MODULE ON OR AFTER APRIL 1, 2008.

If you need help with the training module, please page the CIS Customer Service Reps at 585.275.1616 id #7411.

Please check with your department to determine if you need to attend a Provider Order Entry class.  We are working with many of the coordinators to schedule department classes.
