Employment OpportunitiesThe Department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology at the University of Rochester invites applications for the following: RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSORPossible opening for a Research Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include research, consulting, and collaboration with biomedical investigators. A Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics is required. Cover letter, CV, and 3 letters of reference to:
AA/EOE. Applications from women and minorities encouraged. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONOpening for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an active program in methodological research, to perform collaborative research primarily with faculty in the Department of Neurology, and to contribute to the Ph.D. program through teaching and advising graduate students. A generous salary with start-up support is offered. The two departments have a long-standing collaborative relationship and play leadership roles in national and international groups conducting multi-center clinical trials and epidemiological studies in Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and other neurologic disorders. Both departments are highly ranked in terms of NIH funding. A key component of the new position will involve working with investigators throughout North America in the design and analysis of clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease. Previous collaborative experience in clinical research, particularly clinical trials, is highly desirable. A cover letter, CV, and 3 letters of reference should be sent to:
