Obtaining Copies of Imaging Studies

Imaging CD

The Department of Imaging Sciences is a filmless environment. All studies are acquired digitally and transmitted to a picture archiving and communication system (PACS) for interpretation and review by clinicians. If you require a digital copy for review by physicians outside of the Strong Health System, please contact our Film Library at 275-5368 and we will be happy to provide you with a CD containing the requested examination(s) and the necessary auto-run software for image viewing. Most requests can be processed within 1 hour, however may take up to 24 hours depending upon the type, number, and date(s) of examinations.

Study Hardcopies

Should it be necessary for you to have hardcopies of studies printed for review during Operating Room procedures, then please complete a Hardcopy Request Form (Word format) and fax to 273-1062. We request that you give the Radiology Film Library at least 24 hours prior notice for print requests for scheduled Operating Room cases.

For assistance with hardcopy requests, please contact the Radiology Film Library at 275-5368. If there is no answer during the overnight shift, please page #7275 on the 16 system.
