In both clinical settings and laboratories, the Pediatric Rheumatology/ Immunology Division is dedicated to finding the most beneficial treatments and cures, as well as opportunities for prevention of diseases and conditions that affect the musculoskeletal and immune systems of the body. Current research topics include:

Natural history studies of rheumatologic disorders.

Novel therapy for rheumatologic diseases.
- Analysis of the breakage of human B cell tolerance in systemic lupus erythematosus.
- Member of national Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborative Study Group (PRCSG).
- Collaborative research projects with Adult Rheumatology.
