The Office of Corporate Alliances (OCA) is industry’s link to biomedical research at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), an international pacesetter in basic, translational, and clinical investigation.

Several URMC departments rank among the nation’s top 10 in NIH funding.
More than 1,900 research projects are underway.
Today more than 300 inventions by URMC scientists are available for licensing.
Over $230 million in funding for URMC research activities was secured in 2005.

Working with URMC faculty members and potential corporate partners, OCA facilitates the dynamic transfer of URMC science and technology from the laboratory to the realm of medical advancement.
