When you become a Strong nurse you can take advantage of our flexible scheduling system so you can fit your working hours comfortably into the rest of your life. We offer 8 and 12 hour shift patterns, and many of our units participate in self-scheduling. We will help you work out a schedule that both meets your needs...and the needs of your nursing unit.

The convenience of working in the Medical Center complex helps you balance your busy life as well. We have a bank, post office, gift shop, bookstore, medical library, and athletic facility, as well as two cafeterias and a snack shop. We also offer a convenient, high quality day care center...whose hours and programs are geared to the needs of our professional staff and their children.
