Dr. Rafael Allende is a neurosurgeon practicing in the Rochester area. He currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester with offices at Strong Memorial Hospital and Park Ridge Hospital. Dr. Allende is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Allende received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Additionally, while at Harvard he completed a one year Grunnebaum Research Fellowship in the treatment of brain tumors. He then completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in neurological surgery at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Allende specializes in general neurosurgery with a special interest in spine surgery, brain tumors and stereotactic surgery.

Dr. Allende is fluent in English and Spanish.
