The Faculty Resident Practice is the ambulatory general medicine practice for the internal medicine residents and the general medicine division.  Fifty one residents, supervised by eight general medicine faculty members, provide primary medical care to a diverse population of adults.  The mission of the practice is to provide outstanding, comprehensive medical care to an underserved population while also providing excellent ambulatory education to the internal medicine residents.  The practice is supported and augmented by a superior cadre of ambulatory registered nurses, a nurse practitioner, a social worker, and a dietician.
