Appointments

To schedule an appointment, call (585) 787-0720.

We do our best to make sure that you see your doctor when it's convenient for you. We offer same day appointments for patients with urgent problems.

Your cooperation in arriving on time for your appointment helps us stay on schedule. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us. After three missed appointments, you will be charged a missed appointment fee. When you notify us, we can offer your appointment time to our other patients.

First-time Patients

First-time patients should arrive 15 minutes early for their scheduled appointment to allow for registration. To save time, fill out our new patient registration form and bring it with you.

Before your first appointment, call your doctor's office and have your records forwarded to our office. You will also need to contact your insurance company to change your primary care provider.

If you need medical care after hours or on the weekend, call us at (585) 787-0720. The doctor on call will be paged for emergencies.

Practice Description

Welcome to Webster Family Medicine. We understand how important your health and your family's health is to you, and that's why we take the time to really get to know you and understand your health care needs. Our physicians and nurses are setting new standards for quality health care service. Whether you're coming to see us for an illness or regular checkup, we provide pediatric, adult, and gynecologic care. We will help you try to lower your risk for certain diseases by informing you about recommended screening tests for your age and risk factors.

Prescriptions and Refills

We have a new policy regarding prescription refills. Please call your pharmacy and request that the pharmacy fax to us the medication that needs to be refilled. The pharmacy will fax the order for the doctor to approve. Our fax number is 585-787-9108. Please allow 2 business days for your prescription to be filled.

THIS APPLIES TO REFILLS ONLY.

Mail order prescriptions and triplicates cannot be faxed.

Emergencies and Hospitalization

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room and have the hospital notify our office.

Most HMO insurance plans require prior approval of all emergency room visits. Please call our office at (585) 787-0720 before obtaining these services.

Webster Family Medicine is an affiliate of Strong Health. We admit adult patients to Highland Hospital, and children are admitted to the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong.

  • Take 590 N to Exit 8 - Empire Blvd. to Webster.
  • Turn right onto Empire Blvd.
  • Stay on Empire Blvd. east of Plank Road.
  • Turn right into Spring Ponds Office Park.
  • Turn left, Suite 100.

Billing and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of your visit. We accept cash, personal checks, or credit cards. We also accept most types of insurance, including Blue Choice, Preferred Care, Aetna, as well as Medicare, and Medicaid. If your insurance covers office visits, we will complete the necessary forms and bill the insurance company for you.

Since we are affiliated with Highland Hospital, we have access to funds, which cover office visit costs on a sliding scale. Please talk to one of our secretaries if you think you might be eligible.

Strong Health Teaches

Our primary focus at Webster Family Medicine is clinical care; however, our Strong Health affiliation offers us the opportunity to teach as well. For two months in the fall, we have medical students that work with us. This hands-on training is critical to a student's education and it also enhances our patients' health care.

If you prefer not to have a student involved in your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
