Appointments

We offer same day appointments for patients with urgent problems. We will do our best to make sure that you see your doctor at a time that is convenient for you.

Your cooperation in arriving on time for your appointment helps us stay on schedule. If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us. When you notify us, we can offer your appointment time to our other patients.

First-time Patients

First-time patients should arrive 15 minutes early for their scheduled appointment to allow for registration. To save time, fill out our new patient registration form and bring it with you.

Before your first appointment, call your doctor's office and have your records forwarded to our office. You will also need to contact your insurance company to change your primary care provider.

After Hours

If you need medical care after hours or on the weekend, call our office at (585) 723-3330. The doctor on call will be paged for emergencies.

Practice Description

Welcome to Greece Medical Associates. We understand how important your health and your family's health is to you, and that's why we take the time to really get to know you and understand your health care needs. Our physicians are setting new standards for quality health care service. Whether you're coming to see us for an illness or regular checkup, we provide pediatric, adult, and gynecologic care. We will help you try to lower your risk for certain diseases by informing you about recommended screening tests for your age and risk factors.

Mon - Fri, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Wednesdays the office is open from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., but appointments are only scheduled from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Prescription Refills

Before coming to your appointment, please check to see what prescription refills you may need, so we can provide them for you at the time of your visit. Controlled substances need to be picked up at our office. Please allow up to 24 hours for refills to be called into your pharmacy.

Emergencies and Hospitalization

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room and have the hospital notify our office or the physician on call.

Most HMO insurance plans require prior approval of all emergency room visits. Please call our office at (585) 723-3330 before obtaining these services. We admit patients to Highland Hospital.

  • Office located in Citibank bldg. on the right, across from Greece Ridge Mall.

Billing and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of your visit. We accept cash, personal checks, or credit cards. We also accept most types of insurance, including Blue Choice, Preferred Care, and Medicare and Medicaid. If your insurance covers office visits, we will complete the necessary forms and bill the insurance company for you.

There is a $5 billing fee if you do not pay your copay at the time of your visit.

URMC Teaches

Occassionally, we have medical students or residents working in our office. This hands-on training is critical to a student's education. Medical students and residents observe our doctors during appointments, but they do not treat patients.

If you prefer not to have a student involved in your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
