Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Saturday (every other week Sept–May), 8:30 a.m.–noon
Appointments
To schedule an appointment, please call your doctor's main number listed below between 7:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. (the office is closed for lunch from 12:00–1:00 p.m.).
We feel that it is important for you to be seen by a doctor who knows you and understands your concerns. That's why we'll do our best to make sure that you can see a doctor when it's convenient for you. We offer extended office hours, including evenings and weekends. If your doctor is not available when you call for an appointment, you may be offered an appointment with a different physician.
Your cooperation in arriving on time for your appointment helps us stay on schedule. First time patients should arrive 15 minutes early for their scheduled appointment to allow for registration.
If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you give us 4-hour notiification so that we may offer your appointment time to our other patients.
After Hours
If you need medical care after hours or on the weekend, call your physicians phone number and you will automatically get switched to our answering service.

Our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses are setting new standards for quality health care service. Whether you're coming to see us for an illness or regular checkup, we provide pediatric, adult, and OB/GYN care.

Directions to Our Office
- Take 104 to exit 10A - Carter Street/Hudson Avenue.
- Head north on Carter Street.
- Turn left onto E. Ridge Road.
Prescription Refills
For routine prescription refills, please contact your pharmacy and ask them to fax us your request. For any controlled medication refills, please call the office. We ask for a 3-5 day notification on all prescription refill requests.
Emergencies and Hospitalization
Most HMO insurance plans require prior approval of all emergency room visits. Please call our office at one of the physician numbers listed above prior to obtaining these services.
If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go to the nearest emergency room and have the hospital notify our office or the physician on call.
East Ridge Family Medicine is an affiliate of Strong Health. Our providers maintain admitting privileges at Highland Hospital, with the exception of children, who are admitted to the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. Our obstetric patients deliver at Highland Hospital.
Billing and Insurance
Payment is due at the time of your visit. We accept cash, personal checks, or credit cards. We also accept most types of insurance, including Blue Choice and Preferred Care. If your insurance covers office visits, we will complete the necessary forms and bill the insurance company for you.
Strong Health Teaches
Our primary focus at East Ridge Family Medicine is clinical care; however, our Strong Health affiliation offers us the opportunity to teach as well. Occassionally, we will have medical or nurse practitioner students working with us. This hands-on training is critical to a student's education and it also enhances our patients' health care.
If you prefer not to have a student involved in your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate you.
