Jeanne Beddoe, M.D."I am a teacher. I try to teach patients to pursue maximal physical and emotional health." Dr. Jeanne Beddoe joined East Ridge Family Medicine in 1991 after completing her residency in family medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She attended the University of Rochester as an undergraduate and then went on to receive her M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Beddoe enjoys the full range of family medicine, but she has a special interest in the development of young families and loves to deliver babies. |

Sharon Berkowitz, M.D."I believe that working in partnership with my patients and their families helps them make informed health decisions." Dr. Sharon Berkowitz is a graduate of the University of Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School in Chicago. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Michigan Health System. Her professional interests include newborns and older adult care, with special interests in adolescent health and chronic diseases such as diabetes and asthma. Dr. Berkowitz is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. She is a member of the faculty of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentristry. Outside the office, you'll find her spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors. |
Diana Herrmann, M.D."Providing continuity of care, not just from birth through adulthood, but to all members within a family, is fascinating to me." Dr. Diana Herrmann joined East Ridge Family Medicine in 1997 after completing her residency training at the St. Anthony's Family Practice Residency Program in Denver, CO. Her studies there included rural medicine rotation at the HIS Navajo Reservation in Crown Point, New Mexico, as well as international rotation at the University of London. Dr. Herrmann earned her medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Besides family medicine, Dr. Herrmann also provides women patients with obstetrical and gynecologic care. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, travel, and being outdoors. |

Dr. Paul Howe is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He completed his residency in Family Medicine through St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse. His professional interests include sports medicine and medical ethics. Dr. Howe is board-certified in Family Medicine. He is a member of the faculty of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Outside the office, you'll find him whitewater canoeing, mountain biking, and downhill skiiing. |
Lindsay Phillips, M.D."As a family physician, I believe that my role is to learn about the different strengths and needs of my patients and to help them understand their health and illness. Through this process, I can provide care tailored to each individual and patient." Dr. Lindsay Phillips is a graduate of Brown University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. During this time, she also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Phillips has special interests in child development and obstetrics. Proficient in Spanish, she finds it rewarding to work with people from other countries and cultures and has done public health work in Mexico and Costa Rica. Dr. Phillips other interests include soccer, reading, running, baking and most importantly, spending time with her three children. |
