When a patient's condition requires the expertise of a specialist, we want to make it easy for you to connect with one of our physicians.

You can arrange for a referral/appointment for one of your patients by:

  • Calling our MD Access Call Center
  • Contacting the physician’s office directly

Whichever method you choose, our handy Physician Referral Checklist can help you, or one of your staff members, assemble the information you’ll need prior to the patient's appointment.

MD Access Call Center

Our MD Access Call Center was created to expedite the referral and appointment process.

Trained agents can quickly direct you to the physician with whom you wish to speak, as well as facilitate consultations and second opinions. If you’re unsure of which physician to contact, the agent can identify physicians with the expertise you seek and handle the logistics of contacting them for you. Our comprehensive database helps us to identify physicians who match your needs and those of your patients. We can identify physicians by:

  • Specialty
  • Gender
  • Procedures
  • Hospital affiliations
  • Office location
  • Languages spoken

If desired, Call Center agents can help keep you informed of the outcome of your initial call by confirming your patient has made an appointment with one of our physicians. After your patient's visit, our physician will forward a summary of diagnostic reports and treatments to you as soon as it becomes available.

Contacting a Physician’s Office Directly

If you don’t know the number for the physician you wish to contact, call our MD Access Call Center (at the number listed in the box above) and we will contact you. A new Physician and Service Directory will be available soon, both online and in hard copy.
