Admissions Procedures
Admission to the program is on a competitive basis.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a mandatory requirement.
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a mandatory requirement of applicants whose primary language is not English.
Decisions are made by an Admissions Committee after review of applications and personal or phone interview.
European Students with a Bachelor (Vordiplom) or Masters Degree (Diplom) are explicitly invited to apply. The Graduate Education in Genetics, Genomics and Development has a high proportion of European Faculty Members with knowledge and experience in the European academic systems. Flexible arrangements in terms of admission, course and rotation requirements can be made on an individual case-by-case basis. Contact the Director or any Faculty member for further information.
