The Sickle Cell Clinic offers services
for the child with Sickle Cell Disease.
- Routine physical checkups
- Care and treatment for illness related to sickle cell disease.
- Education and counseling for the whole family.
- Assistance with school problems.
- Social services.
Regular checkups, immunizations and regular sick visits are taken care of by the primary health care provider.
Norma Lerner M.D. is the medical director and Bridget Platania R.N., C.P.N.P., is the nurse coordinator of the clinic. To make an appointment call (716)275-2981.
