Mindful Practice Curriculum: Students
Students at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry will receive:
- An introductory module (~120 minutes) during the Comprehensive Assessment of their second year (May).
- A module (~90 minutes) during each of the participating third-year clerkships (Medicine, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry)
Student modules will incorporate the following themes:
- Module 1: Noticing
- Module 2: Witnessing suffering
- Module 3: Professionalism
- Module 4: How doctors think
- Module 5: Relationships
- Module 6: Self-care and burnout
