Mindful Practice Curriculum: Faculty
Faculty development in the mindful practice curriculum entails the following:
- Grand rounds in each participating specialty
- Mindful practice training (8-week intensive course)
- Two 3-hour mindful practice workshops
- A 3-hour narrative medicine workshop
- A 3-hour Appreciative Inquiry workshop
- A 3-hour mindful practice module "run-through"
Faculty Responsibilites:
- Teach at least 10 mindful practice sessions per year
- Participate in at 4-5 faculty development courses
- Arrange logistics for department-specific residency and clerkship sessions
- Communicate and coordinate with clerkship and/or residency directors
- Communicate and coordinate with project leadership
