Background:
Following graduation from the University at Buffalo School
of Dental Medicine in 1978, Dr. Calnon completed a general practice
residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in 1979.
He was an associate dentist in a private practice in Fairport for
two years and started his own general practice in Chili in 1981. He
is a partner in the practice, now known as Calnon & Cilano, DDS, PC.
Dr. Calnon has been very active in organized dentistry throughout
his career. He served as president of the Monroe County Dental Society,
the Seventh District Dental Society, and the New York State Dental Association.
He has also served on countless committees and councils including the
Council on Dental Practice of the American Dental Association. He is
currently a trustee representing New York State to the Board of Trustees
of the American Dental Association (ADA).
