Pathology Graduate Ph.D. Program

Pathways of Human Disease is a multidisciplinary program. It gives students an opportunity to apply the latest biochemical and genetic approaches in investigating the molecular basis of human diseases.

The program offers a unique combination of core courses in the basic sciences with additional integrated courses combining aspects of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology.

Thesis lab opportunities are provided in various departments and centers including:

  • Biochemistry
  • Pharmacology and Physiology
  • Medicine
  • Microbiology and Immunology
  • Biomedical Genetics
  • Pediatrics
  • Ophthalmology
  • Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Successful completion of the program leads to a Ph.D. in Pathology.
