The goal of the University of Rochester Family Medicine Fellowship Program is to collaborate with nationally and internationally renowned faculty mentors in developing educators, researchers, and future academic leaders in Family Medicine.
Fellows have the opportunity to enter the Master Educator Program or the Research Training Program (with the option of completing a 2-year MPH).

Rochester Center to Improve Communication Health Care
The fellowship office is located in a 5000-square-foot building at 1381 South Aveue in Rochester. The center was founded in 2003 to consolidate research in a variety of areas relating to communication between physicians and patients, among health care professionals, and media influences on the patient-physician relationship.

The University of Rochester Research Environment
The University of Rochester has an ambitious 10-year, $500 million Medical Center research initiative, which began in 1997. This includes two research buildings – costing $110 million and comprising 383,000 square feet (both completed) – as well as the recruitment of 100 research scientists and 500 technicians and support personnel.
