Pilot Projects
Suitable pilot projects will be small, exploratory projects with a high level of innovation.
In addition to general solicitations, the HI Executive Committee may encourage projects to be submitted in selected areas, e.g. projects that take
advantage of existing clinical trials to analyze the immunological mechanisms underlying drug efficacy; and projects with the potential to advance a
technology and thus enhance future projects in the HIC. Although human immunology projects would be preferred, animal projects highly relevant to
human disease would be accepted. After initial presentation and discussion, projects will be chosen by the HIC Executive Committee.
Progress on each project will be discussed once or twice a year at HI Group meetings.
